This Friday we will be holding an event called GAEILGE24 where the children speak as much Irish as possible throughout the day. We are hoping for the children to participate in all fun activities that day through the medium of Irish. It would also be great for the children if they could some phrases at home that day. Some basic phrases can be found on this website. Further information can be found about the day at www.cnag.ie/Gaeilge24 .[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1475780129264{padding-top: 20px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Shona’s Curious 3rd Class!

Shona’s class were very curious about how chocolate is created. They tasted chocolate (for scientific purposes of course!) and from this determined the ingredients. They visited the local shops and compared the prices of what they needed to buy in order to invent their very own chocolate. Much research was carried out in discovering where chocolate comes from and how it is made. The children took a keen interest in the topic of Fair Trade and decided to look at that along with Human Rights in the coming weeks.

If you would like to follow in the steps of our Third Class and create your own chocolate bar, you will need; caster sugar, milk, cocoa powder, flour and butter. Have fun![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
