Update: 1st November 2018

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hi everyone,

Today we have been busy relocating our furniture to Hansfield ETSS for our 1st to 6th Class children with a hope of having this completed by tomorrow if possible.

Meetings have taken place with the Department of Education, Fingal County Council and the Gardai regarding transport and traffic management with plans to be finalised in the coming days.

With regard to the ground floor of our existing building, engineers and contractors have been undertaking work over the past few days on a structural solution for the Junior & Senior Infants and Setanta, with a view to having a satisfactory solution achieved for next week. That being said, rest assured that the Board of Management will assess the work undertaken in the coming days, and seek assurances as to the health & safety of the building before committing to its use, before the children are due to return to school. We are hopeful that this will be provided to us as soon as possible, so we can inform our school community.

With regard children from Setanta who are already integrated into mainstream for part of the school day, we are actively investigating practical solutions that would limit any impact on our current arrangements. We would hope to have a defined solution in the coming days. Our intention is to attempt to formulate a workable strategy that would have little to no impact on these children.

Of course, we will keep endeavour to keep you updated on any progress going forward.

Kind regards

Tim Stapleton[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
