We will meet at the footpath at the top of the road leading to the school at 8.20 am and will begin our walk at 8.30 am. Everyone is welcome to take part in the walk to school. Green School student representatives will be in Hi-Viz jackets to assist with the walk.
We will not be closing the road down to the school. We would greatly appreciate as many families as possible to take part in this initiative from the Green Schools Committee. Road safety is a very important issue so this would be a great opportunity to have a chat with your children about how to stay safe when walking to and from school and in particular when crossing roads. The Road Safety Authority (RSA) have produced a helpful leaflet which you may find useful.
