Learning from home

Google Classroom

  1. Go to classroom.google.com
  2. Sign in with your child’s @tetns.ie account.
    • If using a PC and you have a personal Google account, click on your initial in the top right hand corner and then click add another account.
    • If using a phone/tablet click on the three lines in the top left hand corner. Click add account. If you are already signed in with a personal Google account, click on your initial and then click add another account.
  3. You will see your child’s class when you log in.

If you gave permission for a G-Suite for education account to be created for your child, then their account already exists. It is firstname.lastname@tetns.ie. If your child has never used their @tetns.ie account before, their temporary password is tyrrelstown. You will be asked to change this when you login for the first time. If this does not work, please email help@tetns.ie and we can reset the account details for you.

No, only your child’s @tetns.ie account can access their class.

This is new to everybody (including staff) so we expect there to be a few teething issues. Please bear with us while we all adjust to this new way of doing things. If you do need help, please feel free to email help@tetns.ie and we will do our best to assist you.

Don’t worry, teachers will be keeping an eye out for pupils who have joined the wrong class. If you think you have joined the wrong class, please email help@tetns.ie and we will assist you in joining the correct class.
