Book Fair

The Book Fair is back!

To celebrate this, our school will be having a few extra fun activities next week. Some classes will be taking part in Uninterrupted Sustained Silent Reading (USSR), some classes will be designing bookmarks, others will take part in quizzes, while a few classes will be reading with each other! Friday 15th of April is our dress up day where pupils can dress up as a character from their favourite books. Homemade costumes are extra special on days like these!

The books will be arriving on Wednesday 13th of April with hundreds of new books to browse and buy. Each class will have a chance during the day to have a look at the books and pick their favourites. Prices start from as low as €4.20.

The World Book Day vouchers are also valid for use at the Book Fair this year. We will have change on hand but it would be very helpful if pupils brought the exact amount with them if they want to buy some books.

If we run out of stock of a particular book, we can order more copies. We will only order books that have been paid for in advance. Orders will be placed the week after the Book Fair and distributed as soon as the order arrives.

Every book that you buy helps the school to earn free books to add to our school library!

If you are interested in helping out at in any way at the Book Fair, please get in touch with any of the members of the Parent/Teacher Association or let your child’s teacher know!
