Dear Parents / Guardians,
I hope both your children and you have been enjoying the Summer and have made the most of the time off.
As you will be aware, building works are currently being undertaken at Tyrrelstown Educate Together NS and have been since the end of June 2019.
The work carried out has been extensive and construction workers have been on site everyday in an attempt to complete the Schedule of Works in time for our reopening on 2nd September 2019.
Having spoken with the Department, they are hopeful that works can be completed by the end of next week and allow the Board of Management and myself to inspect the school for reopening. At that point, the staff and myself will need to rearrange classrooms, furniture and resources, clean, reopen the office etc. prior to school starting and this could take a day or so to achieve.
Therefore, should there be any alteration to the reopening date we will contact you as soon as we can because we are aware of the significant impact this could have on your child minding arrangements pick-ups and collections etc.
