As you will be aware from the news, Coronavirus / Convid – 19 is an infectious  disease which was identified in China in December 2019.

Over the past few weeks it has spread to Europe and yesterday there was a case confirmed in Northern Ireland.

As a result, the Department of Health has offered advice to parents of children attending school and those who may have travelled from affected areas. You can read this advice by clicking on the following link: https://www.education.ie/en/The-Department/Announcements/information-for-schools-preschools-and-third-level-institutions-on-the-coronavirus.html

We will be addressing the importance of washing hands, covering mouths when coughing, cleaning etc. in class and at assembly and would encourage parents to do the same at home.

Kind regards

Tim Stapleton[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
