As you know our Winter Assemblies are taking place in the school hall on Wednesday the 18th December 2019.

The structure of the assemblies will be as follows:

Junior and Senior Infants: Parents seated between 8:40am and 9:00am with performance starting at 9:00am sharp.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Classes: Parents seated between 10:15am and 10:30am with performance starting at 10:30am sharp.

4th, 5th and 6th Classes: Parents seated between 12:25pm and 12:40pm with performance starting at 12:45pm sharp.

The assembly performances will have a variety of different elements with something to please everyone and keep us all entertained.

In addition to the performances, the PTA will also be in attendance, selling refreshments and cake for a price of €2. All proceeds raised will be donated back to the school and used to buy resources for the children.

This week 6th class have been busy in Room 13 and will be selling handmade Christmas cards and Christmas tree baubles Monday and Tuesday 16th/17th December in school (for children) and they will also have a stand selling their crafts at the Winter Assemblies on Wed 18th December.

They have also organised a school raffle and have been selling tickets to children and staff who have the chance of winning some seasonal goodies on the day of the assembly. At TETNS, our 6th Classes always go on an extra special school tour at the end of the year but they always fundraise money for this to happen. Therefore, all proceeds from their work will go towards their school tour and any support given would be greatly appreciated!

Finally, we would love to see the hall full of colour and joy on the 18th and would encourage anyone willing to wear seasonal jumpers or clothing etc.

Looking forward to seeing you all then.
