Dear Parents / Guardians
I hope this message finds you and your family well. We have been delighted to receive all of the messages and photographs you have been sending into us! It’s great to see what the children have been getting up to at home and some of the fun things they have been doing.
Of course, as the weeks pass by it is becoming an ever growing challenge to maintain remote learning from home as well as the range of other activities you have to do. We know how difficult and exhausting it is but hopefully we will all have more clarity on the future when the government reveals their action plan towards the end of this week.
Until we find out the details of that plan, we have uploaded school work on the website for this week. As I mentioned last week, we are also using Google Classroom for those of you who wish to use it as a form of communication and feedback from the teachers. Codes will be sent out to all parent email addresses today and you have the choice of signing your child up to the service or not.
Children can easily take a picture of their work and upload a picture for their teachers to look at and give feedback. Obviously, with the use of anything new there may be teething problems for both parents / children and teachers but hopefully a lot of these will be ironed out by the end of the week. Don’t worry if you are having difficulties, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assist you as best we can.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to use Google Classroom you can email the teachers through the office email account email@example.com and Julie will forward the work / message onto the teachers for feedback.
As ever, the work assigned should be seen as a menu of options for you to choose from rather than a timetable. It is important to maintain an educational routine to fit in with current life as we know it and not place yourselves under unnecessary stress.
Take care and talk to you soon,
