Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Department of Education published advice a few minutes ago that all schools in Dublin will have to close tomorrow as a safety precaution for Storm Barra.
This is an exceptional closure without notice and it is hoped we will return to school on Wednesday. As happened in this type of case before COVID, school work will not be provided. Neither children nor teachers have books etc at home and there is a risk that power may be lost in some areas. We appreciate also that it will be difficult for parents to arrange childminding, not to mention trying to do school work too.
I hope to see everyone again on Wednesday and in the meantime, stay safe and well.
Tim
