Beach Day for all classes from 1st to 6th will be on Tuesday next, 20th September. (Infants and Setanta will have their Beach Day in June).
It is a normal school day – children come in to school at the usual times and will go home at the same time as usual. They should bring a packed lunch and should dress appropriately for the weather on the day. They should also have a change of clothes just in case.
Please ensure that your child has sunscreen – we are hoping that we will be lucky with the weather and we don’t want to have anybody suffering from sunburn.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
Coming to school on time
Assembly time for all pupils is 8.40am. Junior Infants line up at reception and all other classes go to the yard. The gate is opened at 8.30am.
We need to close doors and gates promptly for security purposes, so it is very important that everyone comes to school on time.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1474010411085{padding-top: 15px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
Going home from school
Pick up time is at 1.20pm for infants (Junior Infants are collected from their classes) and 2:20pm for older classes. Infants to 2nd class pupils should be collected by an adult.
If 2nd Class pupils are going home on their own, parents must write a note. Older pupils may make their own way home.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
Car park
Parking in the car park is only allowed for permit holders before 9.00am and after 1.00pm. This is because of traffic congestion at these times.

Resource money
Thanks to everyone who has paid the resource money to date. This is not a fee but is used to buy the books, stationery and other resources that are used by the children throughout the year, as well as to fund transport for school tours.

Book rental
In order to minimize the costs to families, we operate a Book Rental Scheme. This means that not all books that your child receives will be new. However, they will be in good condition and will be fit for purpose.
