Active Schools Week
Active Schools Week will take place from Monday 11th to Friday 15th of June. Activities will be organised on each day of that week.
The week will conclude with our annual Sports Day on Friday, 15th of June.
Health
We have had reports of head lice in a number of classes. We ask that parents check their children’s hair and to treat for head lice if necessary.
If a child is unwell, they should not be sent to school. Please keep them at home to recuperate until they are well enough to return to school.
Holidays
If families are taking holidays early, please contact the office to notify us of the reason for the absence.
Hansfield ETSS Bus
A group of parents are interested in organising transport to and from Hansfield ETSS. If your child is already attending the school or if you are considering sending him or her to Hansfield and are interested in exploring the possibility of transport to and from school, please contact Veronica on t2hbusgroup@gmail.com
New Junior Infants for 2018-19
Places are still available for Junior Infant classes for the 2018-2019 school year. Please contact the office for further details.
School Teams
Recently, we have been very busy on the sporting front. Congratulations to all the children who represented our school on school teams throughout the year. Our athletes, cricketers and soccer teams are still going strong. Best of luck to all!
Tyrrelstown GAA Club
Our school enjoys a very positive relationship with our local GAA club. They provide us with valuable assistance and advice, as well as allowing us to use their facilities. They provide coaching for all children from Under 8s upwards.
Contact Details
If any of your contact details have changed, particularly phone numbers, please notify the office as soon as possible. This is particularly important as we regularly have to contact parents at very short notice. We also need the names of people to contact in the case of emergency.
